We are delighted to introduce Ruth Hollingsworth as the new headteacher of Newfield School, starting in January.

Ruth has been with our trust since 2012, serving as an English teacher at King Ecgbert School, head of English at Newfield School, and most recently as co-headteacher at Mercia School.

We are thrilled to welcome her back to Newfield School, where she brings a wealth of experience, a commitment to building on our strengths, and a determination to work closely with staff, pupils, and the wider community to position Newfield School as a leading school in the city.

Her dedication to delivering the highest standards of education for all pupils, along with her passion for our community, marks an exciting new chapter for Newfield School.
