Pupil Premium
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. It is for the school to decide how the pupil premium funding allocated to the school is spent, however schools are held accountable for its use and publish details of this money.
Newfield School is committed to investing the pupil premium fund effectively to provide opportunities for our students to thrive in our school, enjoy their learning experiences and maximise their progress whatever their starting point.
If your child is registered to receive free school meals then your child can purchase healthy food and drinks from the school canteen at break and / or lunchtime to the maximum of £2.54 per day.
